Rapid Response Vehicle
GarborinoFab designed and fabricated a custom wheel-well safety system for the Gresham Police Department’s Rapid Response Vehicle. The project was developed to reduce the risk of personnel riding on the vehicle’s exterior platforms coming into contact with the rear tires during movement. The removable covers were custom-fitted to the vehicle and built to provide a durable barrier around the wheel-well area without interfering with access, storage, or vehicle operation. When not in use, the covers can be removed and stored flat on top of the canopy, helping preserve the vehicle’s flexibility and functionality. During final fitting, GarborinoFab identified an additional exposed area beneath the original cover where a rider’s foot could still reach the tire. A secondary plate was then fabricated and added to close the remaining gap and provide more complete protection. The design also included sealed tube ends and reinforced materials selected to withstand repeated contact, vibration, and demanding operational use. This project reflects GarborinoFab’s practical, problem-solving approach to custom fabrication: assessing the real-world use of the equipment, adapting the design during installation, and delivering a finished solution built around safety, strength, and ease of use.
Polaris RZR Roll Cage
GarborinoFab assembled and welded a pre-fabricated roll cage kit for a Polaris RZR. The project required careful fitting and alignment of each section before welding to ensure the cage sat correctly on the vehicle and maintained a clean, consistent profile.
Once the components were positioned and verified, the joints were welded to create a strong, fully assembled structure ready for installation and off-road use. Attention was given to fitment, weld quality, and overall finish throughout the process.
This project highlights GarborinoFab’s ability to take supplied fabrication kits and complete the precision fitting, assembly, and welding needed to turn individual components into a finished, functional product.
Welding Machine Cart
GarborinoFab designed and fabricated a custom welding cart to organize multiple welding machines and supporting equipment in one durable, easy-to-move workstation. The cart was built around the specific dimensions of the machines, allowing each unit to sit securely while remaining accessible for everyday use.
The frame was constructed from steel and configured to provide stable storage without taking up unnecessary floor space. Heavy-duty casters were added so the cart could be moved throughout the garage as needed, making it easier to reposition equipment for different projects, clean the workspace, or create additional room around larger fabrication jobs.
The cart was also finished in red to match the rest of the garage, giving the completed piece a clean, coordinated appearance while adding protection to the steel surface. The final result combined practical storage, mobility, and a custom look tailored to the shop.

Custom Pergola Brackets
GarborinoFab designed, fabricated, and installed a set of custom steel brackets for a slanted pergola attached to a back-deck overhang. Because the structure followed an angled roofline, the brackets needed to be built specifically for the space rather than adapted from standard hardware.
Each bracket was measured and fabricated to support the pergola while maintaining the intended slope and alignment of the structure. The finished pieces were installed directly at the deck overhang, creating secure connection points and a clean, integrated appearance.
After fabrication, the brackets were painted black to protect the steel and coordinate with the surrounding deck and pergola materials. The dark finish also helped the hardware blend into the structure rather than drawing attention away from the completed outdoor space.
This project demonstrates GarborinoFab’s ability to create custom structural components for unique residential applications, from initial measurements and fabrication through finishing and on-site installation.
Workstation Light
GarborinoFab designed and built a custom overhead workstation light to provide focused illumination across a home office desk. The frame was fabricated from steel and sized to span the full width of the workspace, creating an even light source above the computer and work surface without taking up valuable desk space.
Custom adjustment clips were added to allow the light height to be raised or lowered as needed. This makes it easier to fine-tune the position of the fixture for different tasks, screen setups, or lighting preferences while keeping the structure secure and stable.
The light was finished in black to complement the surrounding workspace and give the piece a clean, industrial appearance. Additional finishing work includes routing and concealing the electrical cords and sensor box so the completed installation has a more polished, streamlined look.
